Our Story
How Nicole and Bill Met
Bill and Nicole met in June of 2005 at summer camp. They bonded by the pool and the hot sun and soon their friendship grew into romance. Nicole knew Bill was serious about her when he showed up on her vacation with her family to take her to dinner. From then on the two of them were inseparable.
(Yes that is Bill's real hair - don't worry, it will never be a fro again)
The Proposal
One cold snowy day in December Bill asked me to go on a date playing in the snow with him. I tried to invite my roommate along with me because we had been DYING to make a snowman. Bill said "no" and although i was a little peeved at him I was still excited for our silly date. Bill took SO long to get ready to go outside. I even started taking off my snow gear and telling him to forget about our date. He eventually convinced me to go outside. When we got out to the snow covered lawn we discovered the snow had a layer of ice over it (in hindsight its really quite comical). so i stomped through the snow and smashed out a spot so i could teach him to make a snow angel. When we were both sitting in the snow he asked me to close my eyes. Now when my Bill ever tells you to close your eyes that is the last thing you should probably do, usually it results with something on your head, in this case i was thinking snow. But i closed them and when I opened them again Bill had written "Marry Me?" in the snow. I laughed and was told him he was silly and he said "no really, im serious" and he pulled out my beautiful ring. At this point in time i was so shocked i pushed him and told him to stop it, and shut up. Bill asked "so...is that a yes?" and i said "OF COURSE!" and jumped into his arms for a kiss and a big hug. It was perfect, a moment I will remember for the rest of my life.
There's no height difference at all!
